Dodge SRT 6.7L Diesel
What do you think about this? It's a Dodge Ram
2500 SRT 6.7L concept designed by Murray Pfaff
of Pfaff Designs. The idea is simple. We leveraged
the performance goals of the Viper V-10 powered
'04-'06 Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10 pickup, and
made it diesel. |

1956 Cadillac
When one tries to define the pinnacle of American
automotive design in the fifties, one car
immediately comes to mind: Cadillac. It was truly
the standard of the world. And when you try to pin
down the best balance between cutting edge
design and pure elegance, you would be hard
pressed to surpass the generation of Cadillacs
spanning the years of 1954 to 1956, when Harley
Earl and the designers at GM were hitting on all
eight cylinders. It established Cadillac as the
definitive American luxury car, distancing itself
from Lincoln, Imperial and Packard.

FireMaker
FireMaker dominates the cover of the June 2008 issue of Car Audio and Electronics magazine. Senior Editor Brook Howell tells how a naive Pfaff thought an amp, a CD player, and a sub might impress. Once he learned of the advancements made in car audio since the last time he invested in one, a 3000 watt system was created for the Cadillac's cavernous trunk. |

Fast Attack
It's not often that one gets to see an idea turned
turned into reality. Back in the planning stages of
this vehicle we worked with Murray of Pfaff Designs
to show what a marinized Duramax might look like.
Murray dangled the "Razzle Dazzle" marine
camouflage in front of us and we bit. It turned out to
be right on. |

The Imperial Roadster
We work with Murray Pfaff quite often on renderings for magazine project cars and other stuff, but he also has projects of his own. Here's his latest. He bought a '59 Chrysler Imperial four-door for $600 and is going to slice and dice it until it's a 50's-style roadster the size of a VW Karmann-Ghia. That's a lot ofhacking. |

On The Street With Heat
The World of Super Rodding has come a long way
since enthusiasts were building cars as a result of
the components on hand rather than by conceptual
layouts. But that was about neccesity, and today the
hobby has taken on an entirely new impetus and
style, thanks largely to the vision of those who have
the ability to see beyond what's been and look
instead to what can result with the right combination
of skill, parts and risk.

Just Plain Nasty
When Martin Barkey decided to build up this '06
Ford Super Duty Harley-Davidson Edition truck, he
did it the right way. He started with a stunning
artist's impression and then put the best people
possibleon the job. |
